開學了，小朋友開心上學去，但長時間處於密閉的冷氣教室內，輪狀病毒在25度恆溫下就很容易滋生，開學後，孩童共同使用器具、一同玩耍等，一不小心病毒就擴散開，一不小心就被輪狀病毒感染，最憂心的是小朋友還將病毒帶回家中，傳染給家中年幼的弟妹。
馨蕙馨醫院的蕭光宏醫師指出，最近診間就有媽媽帶著2個兄妹皆感染輪狀病毒求診案例，主要是哥哥在學校感染，將病毒帶回家中間接接觸傳染給抵抗力弱的妹妹，導致兄妹皆上吐下瀉，持續發燒，媽媽才帶兄妹一同就醫。
蕭光宏表示，輪狀病毒主要透過糞口傳染，1公克糞便中就藏有10億隻輪狀病毒，只要10隻病毒就會感染他人。孩童感染後，病程又快又急，初期大多有發燒及想吐的症狀，嚴重一點可能會有5至10天的水瀉。
蕭光宏指出，孩童痊癒後的10天內，糞便中還是都帶有病毒，家中幼童喜歡摸東摸西吃手，因間接接觸受到感染的機率仍舊非常高，有時甚至是聞到受感染人的糞便，可能就已經吸入幾萬隻的病毒了。
蕭光宏進一步表示，根據統計5歲以下的小朋友，感染輪狀病毒至少都有1次以上。目前輪狀病毒大多採用支持性療法、多補充水分緩解症狀，有些會服用益生菌縮短病程，但市面上並沒有有效的治療方式。因此，建議父母都可讓家中新生兒於出生六週到兩個月內接受口服輪狀病毒疫苗。
蕭光宏說，目前市面上有許多家長選擇口服二劑輪狀病毒疫苗，此疫苗為人類基因的疫苗，能廣泛預防七型的輪狀病毒。通常使用第一劑後，就能達到九成以上的保護力，兩劑的價格是目前市面上最經濟，寶寶還能提早完成疫苗，及早擁有免疫力能抵抗病毒。
網路熱賣商品除了及早預防之外，蕭光宏也提醒家長，家中小朋友的衛生習慣養成很重要，一定要注意手部清潔、勤洗手，爸媽平時也需要注意自己需勤洗手、注意居家環境的清潔消毒才能有效地讓家中幼兒遠離輪狀病毒的侵襲。
大學招聯會於一○六學年試辦個人申請直接錄取免口試，被錄取的考生就不用舟車勞頓、奔波甄試，一○六學年共有廿三校參與，名額上限兩成，未來視成效調整。
大學招生委員會聯合會去年宣布，個人申請表現優異考生，各學系可自行決定直接錄取不用面（口）試，一○六學年先試辦熱賣產品一年，由各大學自行決定是否試辦及辦理方式，總招生名額以個人申請管道兩成為上限。
根據大學招聯會資料顯示，一○六學年共有廿三校參與試辦方案，包括清華大學、政治大學、中央大學、中山大學、元智大學、東吳大學等校。
